Our Ciders
Great cider starts in the orchard. We like to keep it wild with our farming and ferments, encouraging the natural microbiome to express itself through our cider. We intervene very little in the fermentation process, shepherding the spontaneous action that transforms our apple juice into delicious cider. Our ciders are alive and unfiltered, handmade with minimal sulphites.

2021 Sweetheart
Sweetheart is a small batch of 100% Red Delicious cider that was lovingly fermented outside all winter! It is very lightly carbonated. Rich, caramelized, just a hint of sweet. Made with our family’s Certified Organic fruit.

2021 Crabby-pear
Fragrant, mouth-watering, and round. It's all pears, flowers, and vanilla on the nose, orchard fruit and green tea on the palate.

2021 PLUM
Plum is a small batch cider made by macerating whole Italian Kiss plums in Crabapple juice for one week.
Fragrant, heady, and tart.

2021 Cherry Can
Made using cherries grown by cherry crops that were affected by the 2021 Heat Dome. We cold soaked five varieties of cherries in 2020 base cider for two months, before can-conditioning.

2020 Goldie
Goldie celebrates the beautiful characteristics of aged cider. This base cider spent eight months in neutral barrel, and one year on its lees in bottle before disgorging. Autolytic, with a soft mousse. Golden!

2020 FORTUNA
Fortuna is named for the Roman goddess of Good Fortune. Equal parts Red Delicious, Spartan, Braeburn and Salish. Herbal and rich at the same time. Made with our family's Certified Organic fruit.

2020 Pink Lady
The Pink Lady apples picked for this Cider are grown on our largest consecutive acreage — 35 acres. They are picked with a high level of malic acid to create a well rounded cider with a tart finish. Made with our Certified Organic fruit.

2020 NEWTOWN GRANNY
This cider is equal parts Granny Smith and Newtown-Pippin apples. This was the first year our farm had enough of each of these two biannual varieties to juice them as stand alone! Crisp, light, honeyed.

2020 FLORA
Flora is built out of every apple varietal we get at the cidery—every apple that doesn’t fit into one of our other ciders (up to 18 different varietals). Unfined & unfiltered traditional method ambient ferment dry & crisp.

2020 AURORA
Aurora, named for the goddess of the Dawn, is our community cider. This year it is a blend of Jonagold and Golden Delicious apples fermented on Lock & Worth Merlot skins. Colourful, bright, Merlot-y!

2020 CENTURY
Century is a blend of four apple varieties from our oldest farm block. These trees range in age from 80 107 years old. Equal parts Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Macintosh, as well as our Family Mystery Apple.

2020 CRABBY PEAR
Crabby-Pear is a 50/50 Bartlett Pear and Hyslop Crab Apple split. The Bartlett Pear mash sat on it’s own pomace and juices overnight to extract as much aromatics and tannin as possible. Fragrant, mouth-watering, round.

2018 GOLDIE
Goldie ‘Oldie’ is Creek & Gully Cider’s back vintage - aged for 12 months in neutral oak, and bottle conditioned for 9 months. Certified Organic Ambrosia, and Gala apples with a hint of Pink Lady, and Braeburn.

2019 PINK LADY
Creek & Gully Cider’s first single varietal! The Certified Organic Pink Lady apples picked for this Cider are grown on our largest consecutive acreage -- 35 acres -- and are grown outside of the Elder Simonsen household.

Made from 106-year-old Certified Organic Red Delicious Apples. These trees were planted by Hans Salting, our great-great-grandfather! It has been blended with Dolgo Crab & Jonagold apples. Fermented in neutral oak barrels.

Fortuna is Creek & Gully Cider’s last release of 2019! Named for the Roman Goddess of Good Fortune. It showcases our Certified Organic Red Delicious apples – 90% of all apples grown in North America. This cider is dry.
